This is a test knit for Dennis Marquez.

Yarn Used:

• 61g (~245m) of the blue yarn (Malabrigo Sock, color ‘Impresionist Sky’ (806)
• 56g (~224m) of the green yarn (Malabrigo Sock, color ‘Lettuce’ (037)

Mods for fingering weight yarn:

• 3 instead of 2 repeats of section 1
  (-> 4 cables before I started the
  first short row section)
• added one more short rows and one more garter stripe section to compensate for the thinner yarn

Mods for hiding the CC on the backside:

• row 5 & 10 of the short rows section: I didn’t want the blue yarn to show through the cables / the yo’s before the center cable so I pulled out some yarn and left a loop of about 12 inches of blue yarn hanging in the back (after After I did the “sl 6 wyib/wyif”). After I blocked it, I cut the loops and weaved in the ends to get a ‘clean’ look from both sides :)

Measurements

• length: 70 inches from tip to tip. Each wing measures 40 inches from tip to the center cable.

• depth: unblocked 10”, blocked 12-15 inches
