10 July 2026: Finished Clouds and Rainbows this afternoon and immediately cast on this next rendition. I am focused on knitting this long-planned blanket and will keep at it to get the yarn out of stash and off to someone who needs a blanket.

16 July 2026: Joining squares to reduce bulk by slipping the joined stitch of the wrong-side row with yarn in front. For some squares, I had to knit the stitch on CC rows because the slipped yarn did not look like a purl bump.

9 Aug 2026: 24 squares done. It’s likely I will run out of the MC and will have to do the edging in another color. I should have more grey or charcol LPW in stash.

3 Sept 2026: 31 squares done. There is sufficient MC to finish as planned.

6 Sept 2026: All squares done. I had time today and knit the last two squares this afternoon.

11 Sept 2026: Edging took most but not quite all of the final skein of MC.
