Notes

Since it isn’t stated, the starting chain is the same as finished square, measured across the diagonal.

Both colors held together, starting chain of 39, 22-23 rounds, closed with zip stitch. 40.02 gram final weight. 23.65gm (olive) and 16.37gm (teal) used.

Both colors held together, starting chain of 45, 25-26 rounds, closed with zip stitch. 54.34 gram final weight. 32.87gm (olive) and 21.47gm (teal) used.

Still 2 yarns held together, but both teal for the Ripple Effect Potholder, starting chain of 45, 18 rounds. I staggered the round ends so they end up on the edge of the potholder once folded, seemed to be about 1 extra stitch per round, but I really just folded and eye balled it. Because of the pattern was forced to seam instead of zip stitch. 45.36 gram final weight.

Started and Completed Dotty Potholder on 11/8/22. Breeze held double, used same E hook. Directions basically the same as the hat I’ve done before, but once I had 24 Vs of each color (4th round), didn’t increase until 8th round, doubled up to 48 Vs. 9 rounds of Vs, finished with SC around followed by a round of BLOSS. Normally, I’d use 2SC into V, alternated with 1SC into V (like the cowl edge) but that was curling the edge so 1SC in each V worked better.

Final Folded Potholder both strands of teal held together started and finished on 11/27/22 and starting chain of 45.

Peony potholder, started 2/25/23, finished 26th using 4.0 mm hook and 45 starting chain, working 26 rounds
