The pattern was written for a fingering weight yarn, but I wanted to use a sparkly sport/dk weight cotton. (It was the start of the pandemic.) Changing the weight of the yarn was a simple gauge calculation.

I made some modifications: I sloped the shoulders using short rows, added another inch to the top of the privacy panel and made the front neckline a little higher - all worked perfectly! I skipped the i-cord cast on but I won’t skip it the next time because even in cotton, the edge rolls a little.

If you want a project that is fairly mindless once you get started - but not boring - this is your tee! The lace is a four row repeat that is easy to memorize. I love it!
