CO 97 stitches onto a size 5 needle, switch to a size 4 and knit in 1x1 ribbing for 2”. Change to size 6’s and knit to pattern. Was starting to panic a bit knitting the trees with Color A, thought i was going to run out before I finished row 22. Thankfully, I worried needlessly, had about a yard remaining. This was my fault, I did extend my ribbing to 2” vs the 1 1/2” called for in the pattern.

I’m adding the French knot flowers in the “meadow” using the pink yarn Nancy included in the kit and a bit of the Cuyahoga Foliage for some yellow flowers as well. I’m not very good at these, I’ll do my best.

This is a great design! I love the colors, we’re actually going to Rocky Mountain National Park in September when my sister Karen comes to visit. Can’t wait to show off my beanie in the park! I’ll definitely post a picture!
