Knitting as fast as I can and I reckoned I could just about get it finished in time for EYF - plane leaves first thing 9th March. Then realised with horror that the closing date is actually tomorrow :(

So, I won’t make the KAL deadline, but I’ll push on in hope I can at least wear it to EYF

Well that was fun! I got as far as the last cast off and as the seconds crept towards midnight my knitting got faster and faster…… but around 60 stitches remained to cast off as midnight struck. It took another 11 minutes to finish. But my top is now completely finished, blocked and ready to wear to EYF :-)

I dived into my late mum’s button collection and came up with 3 gorgeous shell buttons that look so much like the rocks & minerals used in the Cornish Tin yarn photography that it was uncanny. They just finish off my top nicely.
