This yarn was half price in the John Lewis sale :0)

Thought I might take a break from knitting after the never ending baby blanket. But I woke up this morning a bit lost… So I’m off again.

13.07.14 can’t get this to knit to gauge and don’t want the design to be too small. So only dropped to 3.25 needle and I am taking out on of the 18 st pattern repeats. Still want it to be nice and floppy .

17.07.14 2 repeats done of the back, i keep loosing cable needles on the bus though :(

27.07.14 just had some time off of this to complete 2 other projects…. Back to it now!

06.08.14 just tried on the body and not loving it. Will block and see if that helps? Also should have done the rib on smaller needles. Yarn has no stretch so it looks like it’s going to flare. Bit down about it , so gonna make a cake for Toms leaving do instead of knitting and go shopping :0)

10.08.14 blocking worked a dream ! 1st sleeve finished and cake been delivered:0)

12.08.14 made up one side and the top of sleeve is a bit snug ( I dropped out one repeat ) going to rip back 4 rows and add 1 stitch each end on alternate rows , then bind off looser.

13.08.14 11am both sleeves now done to new measurements. Now sat in the sun to do the neckband. Going to do on 3 mm needle so doesn’t flare. Sun is drying my blocking sleeves nicely
All finished, and it’s super cute ! Pics in the morning, as I’m hitting the wine.
