First time working two-at-a-time small diameter on one circular. Fussy to begin! But I got it going!! blush
HiyaHiya interchangeable with a long cable.
Working both ends of leftover yarn from my Lifeline Mittens.
Doing 2x2 ribbing over forty stitches for each.
Knitted cast-on, to waste the least possible length of yarn.

First mitt done knitting! I’ll get the ends woven in later.

What happened to two-at-a-time? I’m too new at it to do four small diameters at a time, so one is on scrap yarn, while the other was still two small diameters - thumb and hand - on the circular.

I added two stitches - simple cast-on - to the hand, picked up two when doing the thumb, and decreased them on the next round. So, 40 sts for the hand and 16 for the thumb.

I got more length than I had expected!!

I like this pattern, because there’s no left or right. Two identical mitts that fit whichever hand they’re on! +1

The point at which the increases stop just happens to fall on the second thumb joint.
I think I’ll be making more of these.
