7/20/12 These are flying so far! Started them Wednesday evening, and I’m almost ready to start the thigh increases.
7/28/12 one leg done, the other almost knee length. Let’s just hope I can avoid burnout and get these done!

8/5/12 knitting the butt! I moved the waist decreases to the hips instead of center front and back. So farvthat’s the only modification I’ve made.
8/8/12 DONE!!! I am absolutely thrilled with these. The only thing I would change (an I don’t care enough to rip this pair back, so it’s not too big a deal), if I make these again would be to knit the front rise a little higher before putting the front quarter of stitches on a holder and knitting up the back. There’s a BIG discrepancy in the height of the front of the waistband and the back. Now that I’ve been wearing them for an hour or so, though, I realize that that’s probably what keeps them from sagging. I went with an i-cord drawstring instead of elastic. I am loving these!! I wish it wasn’t 90 degrees outside… C’mon, October!! :)
