Ich wollte unbedingt einen Viajante aus diesem traumhaft schönen Garn haben! Doch bald langweilte mich die ewige glatt-rechts-Strickerei, so daß er lange Zeit ein Dasein als “Nebenher- und Zweitprojekt” fristete und während des Sommers eigentlich gar nicht mehr hervorgeholt wurde.

Ein fast endloses und zähes, weil anspruchsloses Projekt! Andererseits ist der Viajante ein ideales Mitnahme-Projekt, da man den Ablauf der Reihen schnell auswendig kann und nicht mehr viel darüber nachdenken oder sogar seine Notizen zur Hand nehmen muss. Und das fertige Ergebnis gefällt mir ausnehmend gut! Ich freue mich, daß ich’s nun endlich durchgezogen habe!

Details zum Projekt:

Um mehr Weite zu bekommen, habe ich die Runden im Mittelteil in der Reihenfolge 3 - 3 - 2 gestrickt

Wechsel von kraus-rechts nach glatt rechts nach 94 R (Maschenanzahl 95 - 1 - 95)

224 R glatt rechts (Maschenanzahl 245 - 1 - 245)

Netzkante: 26 R (13 Lochreihen), Abkettreihe. Verbrauch: 47 g

Maschenprobe ungespannt: 26 M / 38 R
Maschenprobe gespannt: 20 M / 32 R

Maße ungespannt / gespannt:
Abnahmekante 74 cm / 90 cm
Zunahmekante 140cm / 195 cm
Netzkante 100 cm / 135 cm

I was looking forward to get the Viajante out of this beautiful dyed yarn, but I soon got bored over all the stockinette stitch. The good thing about it is that you don’t need to take a look at your pattern anymore, once you got used to it. I shoved the Viajante aside a long time to work at other projects, this is why it took me so long to get it finished. Now I’m glad I made it, and I really like the finished shawl!

I worked the stockinette rows in 3 - 3 - 2 order to get more width.

94 R garter stitch, 224 R stockinette stitch, 26 R Lace border (13 Rows of Eyelets)
