I’m going to make these in Cotton 8 instead of Catona because that’s what I have in stash. Cotton 8 is fingering (14 wpi) rather than sport (12 wpi) but I’ll use the same hook size as Esther and I know I crochet quite a bit looser than she does, so hopefully they’ll fit the rings.

I made two of the small ones and mailed them off with the girls’ Easter care packages for college. Now I have to do three more small ones!

I finished the medium mandala today. What a fun design! I did the small one last week at the Arboretum before work.

I went down to a smaller hook after the first two for my daughters and I like how they fit in the rings much better.

I started the large mandala this morning while enjoying the Spring sunshine on the porch. Life is good.

The last mandala is done, finally. I should have left off a few of the final rounds -- it fits in the ring quite loosely. But after doing 300 bpsc around the ring my arm hurts and I’m not taking it out!
