This pattern is very easy to follow, and a quick knit.

Note: knit back one repeat fewer than the front, and the results are a perfect fit…for me. Meaning, this is an 8-stitch pattern, so 4 stitches each end of row is barely noticeable. Initially, I had thought the side seams would be “off.” They are not. Because of my small frame, most garment backs hang too loosely for my liking. And since my experimentation proved a success, for projects where this adaptation will work, I will make the back of garment slightly narrower than the front of garment.
