I didn’t look at this hat carefully and thought it was all ribbed, so this doesn’t have the seed stitch in the purl valleys but is all ribbed. I still like it! I jogged the ribbing after the k row on the top of the hem to set it off more like in the anker hat. Here’s the other hat I made the correct way with the other half of the ball.

This black is really dark and none of the lights in my house are bright enough to see it! Had to go to a window a few times to correct my mistakes.
