I decided to try this shawl in linen to see what would happen. It’s definitely a different effect than the wool versions I’ve seen pictures of.

Final length: approximately 90 inches (7.5 feet)

The twisted rib effect is very subtle in the linen and really gets lost. But the slip stitch rib is particularly striking.

I think this will make a nice piece for Central NC over-air-conditioned buildings in the summer.
