Attempting to adjust for a size XS for my granddaughter. Based off other size measurements. Also using dc instead of hdc for a lighter weight sweater.

back panel: crocheted 10 sc (All blo except bottom edge in both loops) and 48 dc per row for 17.5” length. 32 rows for 17” width.

Due to no shaping, I can see the cardigan might be a little bunchy around the shoulders and armholes and back of neck. Just going for simplicity this time, but might attempt shaping next time.

Finished last night except for buttons. Waiting on my granddaughter to let me know if she wants any appliqués on it and what color buttons she wants.

I added a mushroom applique as per my granddaughter’s request. I used the free mushroom tote pattern linked above for that part. I still need to make or find suitable buttons to complete.

It’s been finished for months, just had to sew on the buttons. Finally did that today.
