Short sleeve version. Modification detailed below.

Second sweater with this pattern. Size adult medium. Working this one with Lion Brand Heartland, alternating colors every other row. K (6.5mm) hook. Great Smoky Mountains for the dc rounds and Yosemite for the sc rounds.

Followed pattern instructions, but with 8 more beginning chains, (2 additional stitches per side) for a larger neck opening. Added ribbed neckline after as per pattern instructions for sleeve cuffs and ribbed bottom band, but 4 stitches long and with a J (6.0mm) hook.

Short sleeves. 4 rounds, added a dc decrease at the beginning and at the end of rounds 2 and 4. Ribbing as per pattern instructions, but with a J (6.0mm) hook and 3 stitches long. I wanted the sleeve ribbing to be more fitted, so I also slip stitched an extra stitch across bottom edge each time before turning and going back up the ribbing.

Bottom ribbing: Following as per pattern instructions, but with J (6.0mm).
