I ordered some yarn from Cypress Textiles which came with all of her paid patterns. At the time I was trying to decide which pattern of hers to purchase. Glad I couldn’t make up my mind, because now I have them all!

Using the yarn I purchased from Cypress Textiles and adding some from my stash.

I took a LONG break after I got about half way done.

I made a center trellis section with stripes on both ends. I crocheted a single crochet border around each trellis. I whip stitched the trellises together as I thought this would give the join more play, which I needed as the trellises were not all the same size due to using different brand/weight yarns. If I had used all the same brand yarn for the motifs, I would have tried the JAYGO joining method. The finished afghan will need to be blocked due the motif section having less stretch than the striped sections. This is because of the joining in the motif section. This would probably be less of an issue with a smaller afghan. I made mine much larger than the pattern. I still think it will be fine after blocking. I will add a finished pic once I have blocked the afghan.
