It was turning out a little narrow on size 5 needles so I treated it like DK weight and cast on 23 stitches instead. That means I needed a seed stitch border 4-stitches deep.

When I reached the decreases section, I knit:

first row: k1, p1, k1, k2tog 4 times, k1, k2tog 4 times, k1, p1, k1. (15 stitches)
second row: k1, p1, p2tog 2 times, p3, p2tog 2 times, p1, k1. (11 stitches)

Then I knit in plain stockinette with that 2-stitch deep border until it looked long enough to lay nicely across the bridge of my nose.

For the increases, I knit:

first row: k1, p1, pfb 2 times, p3, pfb 2 times, p1, k1. (15 stitches)
second row: k1, p1, k1, kfb 4 times, k1, kfb 4 times, k1, p1, k1.

Continue 4-stitch seed stitch border and pattern as written to the end.

Stitching the back up is a bitch. I mean, it looks great in the end, I just hate having to do it. Heh.
