Note on Texture and Care

Please treat your swatch as you will your finished piece to decide on the fabric you like!

My sample piece was soaked and dried flat and it lost a lot of the dimension of texture. To fully retain dimension, do not block it and use dry cleaning.

If you want more dimension AND the ability to wash, I suggest going down 2 needle sizes. The final dimensions will, of course, be smaller.

There is a sibling pattern
Rib and Divot which is worked at a much tighter gauge and having 3 tiers of shorter divots occurring closer together.

Adjust for circumference with extra repeats and for height with extra rib rounds above/ below or between.

It is fun to experiment with the rib and dent alternation intervals
