A single size of scale worked in the round at a small(er) circumference:

9.5” (24.1 cm) Tall by 25” (63.5 cm) Circumference

Compared to Azure Dragon’s much larger -

14” (35.5 cm) Tall by 47” (119.5 cm) Circumference

Is much less daunting size-wise and no large scales layers to contend with. Used less than a hank of Rios (Sample 80 g/170 yd/156 m - 40 g each color).

Great for less confident knitters and also a helpful project to get into the swing of how the stitch works before attempting Azure Dragon or one of the worked flat Dragons.

I added a little DIY gradient effect for more color interest.
