Decided to cast on……

Knitting like mad to finish this because it is so gorgeous I know I will put it on and probably wear it all winter!

Right now I am doing two sleeves at the same time - and have reached the raglan shaping - so going along quite well.

October 31 - Halloween and I’m finished! Sleeves done, all the pieces pressed, seaming and yes, the neckline is wide!

I tried to make the neckline rib firmer by going from a 3.75 to a 3.5 mm needle…..

Somehow it feels a bit strange to have such a warm wooly sweater with a wide neckline like this….but….as a woman of a certain age, I think this might come in handy. You are being kept warm by the lovely sweater…add a little scarf and when you have a warm spell :) just whip that little scarf off for a bit of cooling! This might just work!

I wore this out on the Friday shopping with a friend….I sort of love it now - wide neck and all - it will be great to cosy up around the house….or a bit dramatic when required!
