Feb 18: FINISHED!!! I stayed up pretty late to finish this. Can’t wait to block it tomorrow! I’m going to do a light block because I don’t want it to grow much. I think I’m going to be very happy with this! :) Can’t believe I knit it this quickly! Yay for Ravelympics! (And Team Dizzy’s Coach Fred with his whistle).
46” across 21.5” to tip
Feb 17: Didn’t get any knitting in yesterday. But I managed to fit in some tonight. 17 rows of the edge chart are finished!!! And I didn’t even realize until I was done with that row that that’s half of the rows for the edge (granted, it’s the shorter, albeit easier half). Only 17 rows left!
Feb 15: Two more body repeats done! whew! That last repeat was tiring because now I have so many stitches on the needles. Getting ready for the edge chart!
Feb 14: Another busy day! Today I got totally spoiled by Husband and got to go shopping. It was so fun! I also bought some new Eucalan wash so I’m excited to use that on this once it’s finished. Only enough time today to finish one repeat. It measures about 17” unblocked (and squished up naturally on the needles/cable). I think I will do at least one more repeat (maybe 2) before moving onto the edge chart. I’m definitely going to need another Ravelympics project…. :D
Feb 13: Had a busy, busy day and only managed to fit in a little knitting time before bed. One more repeat down.
Feb 12: I might have to do a second Ravelympics project because I can see this one flying off the needles. I am done with two repeats of the body chart and as far as I can tell, I think I may do an extra one or two repeats, otherwise I’m going to have way too much extra yarn. We’ll see how I feel about it once it gets bigger.
I LOVE this colorway!! So gorgeous. It looks a lot like fall :) And I love fall colors!
Can’t wait to start this! :)
