3 Sep: finished the knitting and making up this evening. Very quick knit. They are now in the washing machine (front loader) at 80C, with the rinse hold and quick wash functions selected. Hoping this is going to equate to about 40 minutes.

It was 40 minutes. They have come up nicely, but still slightly large. Popped them in for the shortest no spin cycle I can, which will be about 30 minutes.

Took them out at the beginning of the rinse cycle, so they got about an extra 15-20 minutes. Perfect. Just waiting for them to dry now!
