Ok, I really have no plan for this one at all. it’s just a pretty pattern I couldn’t resist. I have a small stash of Scheepjeswol Cotton 8 in some pretty colors, in varying amounts and a few full skeins. Its kind of like playing yarn chicken in a way but with the colors; its a CAL and I won’t really see what’s coming color/pattern wise in the next part release. Guess it will be more of a “make it work” project.

(I deleted a lot of the old notes from here but did keep them.)

Started working on this again… it’s been hanging around for years now; and it’s much too pretty to frog. There seems to be quite a bit of the yarn and colors needed. So here I go again, all these years later.

I was on the last round of part 6 when I found an unfixable/unhidable mistake a few rounds before. No choice but to frog back, and redo…
Currently on rnd 58, and hope to finish this part and start in on Part 7.
These rounds are not hard, and I’m constantly amazed by the silly little errors I keep making. It may be because I keep stopping and starting this one, rather than just focus completely on it. However, it’s got a lot of tiny stitching and can be tedious for me at times. I like to have around 3 WIP’s at a time, 1 easy no-brainer pattern, 1 challenging regular pattern, 1 complicated pattern so that I can switch between them as mood or time dictates

Finally on the last round of this section, and had to add another skein, which I did have… but, as luck would have it, its a different lot and is slightly lighter. I can see it, but it may blend in after all is done. Moving on… :)

On Part 7, Rnd 62. I really should have taken a pic before starting Part 7. Previously I brought that bright canary yellow back, and made some ‘tulips’. I had initially thought I’d not use this color at all after the initial start (center). One of my daughters kept saying her eye was looking for it again… so I thought I’d give it another go.

Currently on Part 7, Rnd 67. I had a minor color crisis, but I frogged back a couple rounds and changed things up and all is well again. I did take some pics the other night, haven’t uploaded them yet; I’ll also get some more tomorrow and get them posted.
