Swatching today! Joining the KAL :)
2016-01-17
Swatch measurements (after blocking) 20sts = 10cm with needles 3,5mm
(right on pattern gauge)

Starting Joke today with recommended needle size, 3,5mm.
Made the twisted rib part in the neck with 3mm needles, since I have’t found 3.25mm needles in European measurements.
On short rows: I picked up the wraps using the right needle as showed in the video tutorial.
Made the “cluster” being careful not to overlap the wrapped yarn, as suggested by satokichi.

Yoke section 1 is finished, it’s been super fun and a huge learning curve for me. Great video tutorials. Starting the Yoke Section 2.

In rnd 2 of the “Yoke Section 2” (page 7/20) it says that you should knit to markers, but that page doesen’t explain where to put the markers, so I coulden’t figure it out. Luckely the lovely designer helped me out, and she told me the instructions for where to place the markers on that round are on page 17/20, where the written chart instructions are.

Put the body section on hold (stopping at page 10/20) and started knitting the sleeves.

Both sleeves finished. I modified the sleeves to better fit my measurements:
Mods:
Decrease rnd every 8th rnd a total of 10 times.
Decrease rnd every 5th rnd a total of 4 times.
Total stitches after the decreases: 54 sts

Picking up the body sts.
MOds: The pattern calls for a total of 20 dec on each side (40 sts dec in total), every 4th and then every 5th round. I decided to make this decreases every second round (every other rnd) for a shorter body section.
2016-02-25
Made the 40 decreases, starting short rows following pattern instructions again (page 11)
