I love making this blanket. This is the first time I’ve actually followed the pattern and made the flowers, as I usually make the flowers into diamonds so as to suit a boy or girl.

I substituted the UK dc for a US hdc as my stitches a shallow and I find the hdc looks better.

I love the subtle peachy pink and have used it a lot recently.

This one is going to a friend of the families baby girl Evie.

She was a little overdue and weighed in at whopping 10lbs 7 ounces. Welcome to the world baby Evie.
