Partial Stash-Down Blanket No: 23 in my 2018/19 Stash-Down Blanket Extravaganza

As Granddaughter Eva didn’t like the colours of the other Summer Flower Granny Blanket that I made for her, I have started another one, with purples, pinks and white.

She didn’t like the blue and green that I put in the other blanket and it was my own fault for adding them.

Never mind, that blanket has another little girls name on it now.

This is a partial Stash-Down, using 7 stash-down yarns, so i’m counting it as a Semi Stash-Down Blanket smiley

I’m getting the squares made quite quickly, using the method that I used for the other blanket. It is a much speedier method than choosing the colours.

I do have to re-choose if the colours are too close, but the majority of the time it is random. Go me with the random thing wink

I worked 6 round granny squares. I surrounded the 4 x 4 squares with 3 rounds of white this time to make the blanket slightly bigger.

Border:

Worked 2 rounds of granny stitch all around.
Last round: 6 dc in corners, sl st into next space between granny clusters, 6 dc into next space all around.

I hope Eva likes this one better, if not I will try again :)
