Notes on making
I did buy the pattern knee highs and higher, but there are issues with the pattern. I have notified the designer of some typos and confusing things. I really figured out a lot on my own by trial and error.

64 cylinder
Began with dial on normal setting of 3 near cylinder (vcam 3 cm below rim of cylinder)

Turn dial 1 full turn to the right (4 clicks) looser to 4

Heel spring on entire sock as always

Begin with 1x1 rib for 60 rounds (no in out selvedge needed)

Remove ribber needles switching them to cylinder needles beginning at 3 oclock after counter reaches 60, turn dial to 4 (one click looser) knit 1/2 round (stop at 9:00 ish) then after last ribber needle is removed-take off ribber and begin to hang hem at 3:00. Find a loop behind knit stitch and hang every other loop of the knit stitch on every other needle. You only have to hang every other stitch since a 1 by 1 rib doesn’t run. Make sure you are hanging it straight, and be careful, stitches like to pop off the cylinder needles since they are loosely knit.

Knit 60 rounds at tension 4
then turn dial a quarter turn to 3 (1 click tighter)

Knit 30 rounds at tension 3
then turn dial to 2 (1 click tighter)

Knit 30 rounds at tension 2
then turn dial to 1 (tighter)

Knit 25 rounds at tension 1
then turn dial to 4 (tighter)

Knit 10 rounds at tension 4
then turn dial to 3

Knit 10 rounds at tension 3 (back to normal tension)
total 165 rounds in leg after ribbing.

wrapped deep heel (+3 on each side)

foot 59 rounds (turn dial to 2 after 30 rounds for a slightly tighter foot since it is small)

wrapped toe.

The recipient tried them on after the first was finished, and they fit perfectly so I made the second to match.
