This pattern was rather a pain. The colorway is not one I would have chosen; in person it looks a lot different than in photos. If I ever make this again, I will probably change the colors around at least a little. As usual, Knit Picks patterns leave something to be desired in their instructions and some of the chosen techniques are harder than they have to be. It’s blocking right now and we’ll see how it looks when it’s dry. The picture’s dark. I’ll try to get a better one once it’s dry. I’m not too optimistic on its tamminess. It’s not that floppy and I have a giant head.

I’m not unhappy with it, I’m just not as happy as I hoped I’d be. On the other hand, I now have a lot of leftover Palette to play with. :)

Update: I. LOVE. THIS HAT. I’ve hardly taken it off since I blocked it. Seriously, this is adorable.

Final update: alas, this shrunk to unuseability after the disaster. ☹️
