These are just a small portion of the yarns I used for this project. There are 10-12 different yarn used in all.

It started to turn out too big because of the gradual increase in needles sizes, so my overall size and shape turned very different than Janes. With that in mind, I had to figure out how to add onto it which keeping the round shape I achieed.

The end result is a more round with a little feather and fan edging, followed by single crochet with wide button holes to weave through a scarf. Hopefully silk. This just might become a multi-media project.
