While I was knitting Gnathan from “Gnot Just Another Gnome” my husband asked for a human sized version of his cabled hat. So when Imagined Landscapes designed one, I jumped at the chance to test knit the pattern. The cable pattern is very intuitive and easy to remember, making it a pretty simple knit. It even taught me how to cable without a cable needle, so I could work on it on a plane, at a campfire, and beside a Florida spring! Matt loves it and is now wearing his new hat around the house.

The size large perfectly fits my husband. His head circumference is around 24”. The hat is 65 cm long after blocking, plus a 10 cm tassel.
