Hat - followed pattern until increased to 48 stitches. Then decreased with 4 k2tg every 4th round. Icord for last few rows.

Collar - picked up stitches for body with white, switched to black after collar was two rows below bottom of hat brim

Stole - CO 3 stitches, knit in seed stitch until just shorter than needed, stretched to correct length when blocking
