Finally got to collect all my notes, and on a windy sunny day somebody caught me between a wall and a camera.

This project was inspired by a combination of the very, very old, and the almost impossible, eg. iron-age garment and how to checker the uncheckerable (and knit the unknittable) - the development of the spiral is described in the https://www.ravelry.com/projects/Met-Mari/chromataxis--wi... project.

The dress is knit in one piece and then steeked in 3 places. The only sewing is under the arms and back.
Final colors was determined from the purple base color so there is some splitting and use of non coast yarns. And some unsightly entrelac borders because linen vs cotton vs alpaca will not meld.
