Update 6-25:
My goal was to destash a malingering odd quantity—5 balls or 655 yards—of Summer Tweed, and the result is one of my best summer knits ever. Very pleased with the fit, style & clear straight-forward pattern. Used approx 4.5 balls for the XS. Worked sleeves on 2 US #9 circulars; picked up 5 stitches to close the underarm gap for a total of 51 sleeve sts, K1 round; K5, K2tog to 45; P1 round; used K2tog bind off. Did not block, I was afraid of stretching out of shape and it looks fine without it.

Originally cast on for S (supposed to fit 36-38”, I measure 35”) got through the entire lace yoke, placed on waste yarn and it was swimming on me. Frogged and began again casting on for XS which is for 28-34” bust. Pattern has quite a bit of positive ease built into the sizing. Trust me I know what XS looks like, I am no XS.

It took a weekend to get through the lace for the 2nd time. One does need to concentrate but it’s not unbearable. Then it’s on to the mindless stockinette.
