Very grateful for free pattern on Give Something Away Day. It took some thinking to get what was going on with the directions as I’ve been away from knitting for a long while & these seemed overly detailed to me. But the pattern eventually made sense. Even though I routinely had the wrong number of stitches on partial repeat rows, (never could figure out where I went wrong) it’s pretty fudge-able.

Used up old stashed yarn & shamelessly copied other ravelers by adding narrow stripes to body. Colors reminded my knitting group friends of Neapolitan ice cream or spumoni, hence the name. It’s far from perfect but definitely wearable & I’m very happy with outcome.
