I started this afghan and sent it off to Mississippi to be completed by a friend. She then will send the afghan to a mutual friend who recently just had brain/spinal surgery.

The blanket was finished by my friend Sam K in Mississippi and this weekend it will be sent to Jenny in Michigan. We “met” on-line through a friendship afghan circle. I met Jenny first swapping brown and pink squares for a “Chocolate Covered Cherry” blanket swap. We then were in the same swap, with the addition of Sam K. That was the “Summer Blues” swap. Jenny is doing well since her surgery and she has a wonderful family taking care of her!
