1/9/2014--Started this two nights ago. Trying to crochet two afghans at once…one on one day, another the next. I’ve never done that, so I’ll see if it works…
This afghan will be a good size for a couch afghan. Making it for the Wales Volunteer Fire Dept. to raffle off as a prize. Doing 4 red, 2 white, 2 black, 2 white, 4 red, 2 black, 2 white, 2 black, repeat (I think). So far I am 1/2 way through my second set of red.

5/27/2014-- Four and a half repeats complete. Which doesn’t seem like much, but 1 repeat is actually 20 rows long. I think I’ll need about 18 more inches to finish off. I am hoping to get this done by June 8th.

7/10/2014-- I put this on the back burner with the heat and humidity we’ve been having. Plus I ran out of yarn. Picked more yarn up today and I’ll be working on it tonight.

7/11/2014-- 1 repeat is 10 inches long. I have 5 repeats complete, working on the 6th. I think I’ll need about 8 repeats, plus 5 rows of red to finish it off and get the right length. It would be great to get this done, out of the way and ready to be raffled off!
