I started off with a 5mm hook, but after round 6 the diameter was 4.5-5 (should’ve been 4, as I was intending to do a small adult size). Switched to a 4mm hook.

At round 23, switched to a 3.25mm hook for brim.

Finished dimensions (came out as a Large, even though I intended a Small): 25.5 circumference around brim, 11” across.

Diagram was SUPER helpful!

Love the subtle zigzag pattern near the brim.
