Chasing after this Indiecita colorway, having fun exploring how the colorway is different across dye lots and yarn types. Enjoyed the Mechita Brickless so much I wanted to see how it would look in Sock. This is the third potential gift for my friend.

This is also my “cover” project that I will have out whenever my mother is around so she doesn’t know that I am working on her birthday gift.

While the wash of colors first looked heavily greens and blues with a splash of purple, the skein wound up rather green. When I first wind my skeins off the swift, they are rather tight, so I often rewind them a second time to relax them. This skein was very, very green on the first winding. The second time, it looks very green in the center, but more blue on the outside. I am hoping I might have gotten a bit of a long gradient!

That last set always makes me nervous. By the ribbing, it just feels there is no way I can get a full lace section and the bindoff done. But with my trusty numbers, I know I can! Loving my little Blade scale.

Definitely has a color shift from blue to green, but it is essentially a long gradient and I think it is kinda cool.
