I am doing 2 at a time magic loop. I cast on 32 each side for a total of 64 in mc.
row 1 p1, k1 mc.
row 2-9- p1 mc, k1 cc for corrugated rib.
row 10- k all in mc with 8 increases (4 per side0 about every 6th stitch for a total of 36 each side (72 total)
knit pattern “a”
next round. end of each side k2tog for a total of 70 sts.
move 3 stitches from front to back to follow chart. I added stitch markers at thumb increase and side stitches to make it easier to read the pattern.

frogged . it was too tight so I used longer cable and shorter needles. restarting.

This project had been a test in tension. I did wind up TAAT with 3 inch needles. after several tries I did get a good tension. I did not like the tip of mittens. I did a 3 needle bind off. It was so small I wound up just threading though.

After breaking my bambo dpn’s on the thumbs, I gave it a time out and purchased metal dpn’s. wish they were smaller, but they worked. today I finished the first thumb. my unblocked gauge is 34 x 38 in 4”. will post blocked guage.
