CO 10, then more or less followed directions for largest size. I did increase the earflaps to just 18 stitches instead of 20. That still measures out to 4” wide.

I picked up 84 stitches with the red yarn, then made stripes with navy (alternate 2 & 3 rounds), one gray, then two red. I ran out of red & did the top in navy.
