I made the first leaf according to the Summer pattern, then did a 3 stitch I-cord, long enough to have 9.5” ties, including the leaf, on either side of the triangle, plus the 19” for the front of the kerchief (which I sewed down). I did that instead of the seed stitch band.

I used the Winter pattern & size 7 needles for the bandana part. I added two rows of green at the end, then did one knit row in blue & bound off knit-wise. The outer edge still rolled, so I encouraged it to lay flat by sewing the purl bumps on either side of the green rows together on the WS (see photo).

I love these colors together, but my ‘figure it out as I went’ method was too fiddly. I have a better idea for the next one…!
