Notes

Hollywood legend, Katharine Hepburn was an early pioneer of androgynous fashion, often appearing on set dressed in high-wasted pants and button down shirts. Her chic sense of style was decidedly unconventional in the Thirties and Forties, when feminine dresses were the order of the day. The fiercely independent Hepburn famously once said: “Anytime I hear a man say he prefers a woman in a skirt, I say, “Try one. Try a skirt.” I’d like to think that she wore a good pair of hand knit socks under her trousers in a neutral color to match all her khakis. –Dailymail.co.UK

Second in my Tribute Series. The first one is Dreams, a tribute to Langston Hughes and is the June/July sock for the solid sock group. It can be found here solid socks mystery june/july 2014 and is free.
