These socks got pushed to the side for a while due to me dreading having to deal with the colour management and untangling balls and the recent Steam sale. But I finally got them finished.

And in the end I’m not truly happy with them. I feel I probably should have done the broken seed stitch at a tighter gauge to really show it off and in retrospect I probably should have gone with a rounded toe rather than the star toe I did decide on. Also I now know that I want to have my ankle socks at least 5.5cms (including ribbing) before starting the FLK heel. These are just a fraction too short to be comfy.

I might end up giving them to a friend if she wants them.

Took some photos today in the cold winter light. These socks are actually growing on me, maybe I will keep them after all. I did notice they are riddled with obvious mistakes though, eek.
