5-29-10: Decided on 3.25 Clover bamboo needles. Cast on.

5-26-10: My gauge is really far off, too tight, so I’m going to do another on larger needles. I also think the top band is a little muddy. other peoples pictures show a much more defined lattice pattern. I think I like the medallion colors though. Thoughts?

5-14-10: Ordered yarn. I’m pretty sure the two primary colors will be bark and Autumn Heather, and I’m sticking close to the original substitute colors, but I’m trying to replace the blues and greens with purples/burgundies so I’ve ordered about twice as many options for the other colors as I will end up using. The plan is to knit a few swatches and see which one to move forward with.
