To coordinate with the Butterflies Shetland shawl/blanket.

Needles:
UK 10 - Use 2.5mm instead
UK 12 - Use 2.0mm instead
The first top was too large so I set it aside and started again. That one weighs 13g.
I cast on 70 and made 10 edging repeats for the bonnet (I had to fudge it a bit at the end). It is 13.5” long when blocked and weighs 3g. I did a long tail cast on, but should have used a larger needle so it was looser and would stretch more.
Sweater - 51g
Measurements (lying flat)
Sweater: 9.75” underarm, 5.5” shoulder to waist, 10” waist to hem, 10” sleeve (from shoulder), 8” sleeve (underarm)
Bonnet: 5” deep, 7.5” high, 2 7/8” wide, 3” edging (if I make this size again, make it narrower by 1” on the bottom)
Booties: 3.5” long, 1.75” wide, 3/4” high in back (next time make the back higher by 1/4”)
Two edge stitches
17 full pattern repeats wide in the skirt
1/2 and three full (1.5 charted) pattern repeats long in the skirt
Reduced edging by two longest rows
6 stitches between each picot on the front and neck edging
Did two stitches between each lacing hole in the waist.
