I needed to try out Addi Crasys. Also, I wanted to try a contrast colour tubular cast on. And I wanted to knit up these scraps, for whatever reason. Here we go….

Hmmmm, these socks look like Zebras got drunk on limoncello liqueurs.

• tubular cast on on larger needles, switch to smaller after setup rows

• cast on, and setup rows, in green (cc2), then yellow (cc1) for 7 rounds - 1 row in cc2 and 6 visible ones in cc1

• 3 rows mc switch to larger needles

• shift start of heel to BOR to be able to use cc1 w/o cutting

• heel over 31 stitches. Have the edge stitches as knit stitches in all rows and the second to the edge stitches as slip stitches for a neater edge when picking up stitches

• heel flap and turning of the heel in cc1, needle combo for k/p, 40rows, 6cm

• turning the heel: make middle wider by 2 stitches

• pick up 22 stitches on each side for gusset

• pick up round in cc 1 (=4th row)

• every 4th row in cc1 to make the mc last, 11 times after gusset.

• Then 3 rows cc1, one row mc. Cut mc. 4 more rows in cc1

• toes in cc1, FLK over 1-10-7-10-1, back to top, 3-needle BO
