This is such a FUN knit…potato chip knitting for sure.

Not that this pattern needs any mods cause it is fabulous….I just happen to feel lazy right now.

My mods for this project are:
Using a self striping yarn as my CC color.
I’m carrying the yarn up the side cause…well I’m lazy.
I just don’t want to weave in any ends.
That minuscule blip of color along the edge is just fine to me and I’ll probably do something to finish the edge off…I usually do…and so that will be hidden in the end result.

No purling at all.
When it says to purl, I knit.
Where it says to P2tog I K2tog.
This is a garter stitch project and it doesn’t matter to me. I want to just keep it simple and zoom zoom along.

I also am doing my W/T different.
I slip the stitch to be wrapped first, THEN, I bring the yarn from back side of work to front side. Then, slip the stitch back to the left needle, turn work. Yarn will be on the back side already in position to knit. This W/T is like putting an arm around the stitch and hugging it close to the neighboring stitch’s side.

When it comes to picking up the wraps, I don’t.
I just knit the wrapped stitch and continue with the pattern directions. There are no holes in my work….the garter stitch hides it all.

I can see myself making more Lefties.
The color combinations are endless! How fun!!
