I had never felted anything before. The process really amazes me. The individual pieces were knit up quickly in just a couple of hours and the felting was only a matter of throwing the slippers in the washing machine on the hottest setting with a couple of tennis balls and one pair of my husband’s sneakers and just like that…voila… a beautiful slipper emerges. The Cascade yarn felts very well.
The drying time was the longest (a few days) part of the process.
