Modifications
I have added short rows as follows to raise the back neck (perhaps necessary for size 12 mos and below):

I did the short row shaping on the 2nd row after cast on. I knitted 10 short rows, turning five times on each side of the center marker (76 sts/2 = 38 sts on each side of the piece). I placed the short row markers (turning points) after 10 sts, 13 sts, 17 sts, 23 sts, and 30 sts on each side of the center marker. The red markers are the turning points for the right side of the work, which I did on right side rows, and the blue markers are the turning points for the left side of the work, which I did on wrong side rows. I did the short row turns each time AFTER slipping the short row markers on both right and wrong side of the work.

After the last short row I knitted 1 more full row (to complete the 3 rows after cast on as stated in the pattern) and then continued to do the first increase row.
